Magnetic Eye's Redux series was created to pay homage to classic artists and albums from across the spectrum of metal and rock. The Ramones are unquestionably the most ubiquitous American punk rock band of all time, whose spirit of rebellion and music have inspired generations. Ramones Redux includes new renditions of deep cuts and classics from across their catalog, are the first Magnetic Eye Redux releases to be masterminded and curated by Grammy-winning producer Marc Urselli. Marc took on the project with massive enthusiasm, and leveraged the boundless adoration of The Ramones by pairing up artists from unconnected scenes and disparate genres to take on their songs. A ton of amazing artists including Napalm Death, Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), Arthur Brown, Mortiis, Restless Spirit, Imperial Triumphant, Ihsahn (Emperor), Vicki Peterson (The Bangles), Voivod, Kilter, Gary Lucas, and tons more have taken on and transformed legendary songs from the catalog of The Ramones.
